Right on, Dave. The situation is somehow even worse in Brazil, where more than half the population is black and almost 100% of the pretty faces in advertising are white Brazilians. In the case of Vman, I guess submissions from other ethnicities are a step in the right direction. And the next would be to have one winner per ethnicity.

The Vman model search finalists are always caucasian. While i have nothing against them selecting a causcasian face as thats the audience they cater to they should not request submissions from other ethnicities if they want a caucasian. There were so many better black and asian guys in the search and they’ve all been left out. And this is the 2nd time that all their finalists are white. The last search had the same results
